Born and raised in Chios, Eirini moved to Alexandria, Egypt, where she lived for four years. She graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) in 2014.
Having worked previously as a case worker and integration projects in various camps (including Vial) around Greece, Eirini has accumulated valuable field experience dealing with gender base violence cases. Besides being responsible for the smooth running of our Athena Centre for Women on Chios, she also plays the crucial role of providing psychological support for the women who visit our Centre.
Eirini loves swing music and dancing. She is also a big fan (direct quote: “I adore”) of the Greek singer and songwriter, Thanasis Papakonstantinou.
