Rahel Moser

Rahel volunteered for the first time in her life in the summer of 2016. For three weeks, she coordinated Action from Switzerland’s Athena Centre for Women on the Greek island of Chios. The involvement in refugee related work was not only intense but also eye opening. It convinced her that she can continue supporting the refugees by joining the rest of the team back in Switzerland.

Rahel is the usually first point of contact for potential AfW volunteers – home or mobile. She is responsible for recruitment and supports the mobile volunteers with proper inductions and any related concerns, prior to their departure to Greece . She does all these while balancing trying to swot in the library and complete her Masters in Law at the University of Luzern.

She considers herself as a coffee sapien and admits that she constantly struggles to overcome modern technology.
